No Internet access, processes get killed

Do you encounter problems with DEFENDO services being stopped all of a sudden so that e.g. you can no longer browse the Internet or send emails? This could be caused by low system memory. Please check the graphs in menu "Statistics > System load > Memory" if more than 50% of the swap space (blue colour) is in use.
If this is the case, the system is probably running out of memory. First of all you should update to the most recent version. Odds are that the problems are caused by a bug which has been fixed in the meantime. Please add more memory or consider a complete hardware update. Your DEFENDO dealer has some interesting offers for you.

What to do if the problem occured?

It is often difficult to find out all of the affected features, so we recommend to reboot the system.
If you just installed an update, please wait for at least 5 minutes after the update completed before you initiate the reboot.
