Updates for the 7.1 release series will be provided until 2024-12-15. The end of life of the other release series is to be announced here 24 months in advance.
All older release series have reached their end of life and are unsupported. Please update your system.
The update is free of charge if, by the time the new release series had been published, your product was covered by a maintenance contract. You can conclude a maintenance contract via your DEFENDO dealer. The minimum term of the maintenance contract depends on the version of your system.
Until 2024-12-15 the minimum term for devices running a 7.1 release is 12 months, thereafter 24 months. For devices running a 7.0 release or older the minimum term already is 24 months.

Starting with release 7.1-4.0, the WithSecure scanner is provided as a DEFENDO app. To install the scanner app, open menu "System > Apps" in the DEFENDO administration interface.

Kaspersky

The install packages available from this page are only required, when installing the scanner the very first time. On new devices the scanner is usually pre-installed, if a scanner has been purchased. The Avira and Kaspersky scanner engines are updated along with the DEFENDO-Updates.
The install packages provide a special version of the scanners tailored to DEFENDO. Licenses are sold exclusively by authorized DEFENDO dealers.
